Dear ………,
Model Answer:
Dear Thomas,
Hope you are doing great. I have got enrolled in a diploma course at the Sydney Polytechnic Institute and it is a year-long course. My departure date is drawing near, and I am yet to finish so many things! The tuition fee and living cost are comparatively higher, and I am hoping that you can find me a part-time job.
I have decided to complete this diploma course before looking for a full-time job and you are one of those who supported me on that. I will always be indebted for that to you. My class will start on 3rd of June and I will arrive in Australia on 26th May. To assist in covering my tuition fee and living expenses, I intend to do a part-time job. So I would very much like to arrange some temporary employment before I arrive and I hardly know anyone in Sydney other than you.
I would really appreciate if you can look for a part-time job that I can do, preferably in a restaurant, library or a shop. I can also work as a nanny. I know you have a wide social network in Sydney and you wouldn’t mind looking for something suitable for me. I would be always grateful to you.
I look forward to hearing from you soon.
Best wishes,
Rohan
