Model Answer:
Dear Sir or Madam,
I am writing this letter to express my dissatisfaction with the car rental service that I took from your company last week when I was on a vacation with my family in Portugal.
I signed an agreement with your Lagos office to rent a Honda CR-V model car for three days for a charge of $60 each day, and I paid an additional $500 as a security deposit. The contract mentioned that someone will drive the car to the hotel I was staying in, and let me test the car before I agree to take it.
However, to my dismay, no one came and when I called your office, I was informed that I would have to take it from your office. To make the matter worse, the air-conditioning system of the car was inadequate and that made our travel quite uncomfortable. Apart from that, the sliding of the window glass of the back seat was faulty and the car was much older and used that we expected.
We were extremely excited about our trip but hiring a car from your company ruined it to some extent. I have paid an exorbitant amount of money for a below-par service and I would request a 50% refund from your company.
I look forward to hearing from you soon.
Yours faithfully,
Hanson Mercury
