You want to learn a language. A teacher who teaches this language lives near the area where you live.
Write a letter to the teacher. In your letter,
- say how you came to know about him/her
- explain why you want to learn this language
- ask what help he/she can offer
Write at least 150 words.
You do NOT need to write any addresses.

Dear Mrs Jill,
My name is Sarah Gilbert, and I am writing this letter to enquire about the possibility of getting some German language lessons in the coming days.
I came to learn about you through a local newspaper where you provide tips on learning your native language from time to time. Later on, I also came across some students in my area who learned the German language from you, and who did not have anything to say about you except good words about your German language teaching ability. It was at that time that I decided to learn this difficult language from you.
I want to learn this language because I have been offered a scholarship to study a postgraduate diploma course in the “International Relationship” major at a prestigious German university, but I will be able to avail this opportunity only if I have some competency in the German language.
So, I would highly appreciate it if you could tell me when would be the best time for you to teach, and how long the course duration would possibly be. Information regarding the price of the lessons would also be highly appreciated.

I have always been interested in learning new languages, and I believe that learning a new language is not only a fun and rewarding experience, but it can also provide numerous opportunities for personal and professional growth. Since I am planning to pursue my higher education in Italy, I would be very much interested in learning Italian.
I have heard great things about your teaching methods from my relative, and I am excited to learn from you. Could you please let me know what kind of help and guidance you can offer me? I am looking for guidance in terms of the most effective way to learn the language and perhaps some private lessons if that is possible.
