Model Answer:
A family outing was a rather common thing in my family when I was growing up as a child with my elder brother and sister. To make things even more interesting, sometimes some of my paternal cousins also used to take part in them, and this is the story of one of those interesting family outings.
It was almost 15 years ago when I took part in this family outing. Back then I was just a 7th-grade student, and I just cherished any idea that involved going outdoors and doing something together with my family. So, when I was told that we were going for a family outing at a very popular garden park in my country, I just couldn’t wait!
The day of our family outing arrived and we left our home at around 9 am after packing our things. We drove for about 3 hours and reached a beautiful landscape on the bank of a river. This beautiful landscape occupied a large area of a green field with a lot of bushes and trees.
As soon as we reached there, my siblings and cousins started running wildly towards the river, but we stopped ourselves from jumping into it at the very last moment. Afterwards, we started to play with our football. On the other hand, my parents got busy taking pictures of the river and the flying birds over it. When we got tired of playing football, they invited us to do some fishing with them. Then, at last, came the most amazing part of our outing, the food. We ate all of the foods that my mother had prepared, and for some reason, they tasted more delicious than usual. When we finished our food, it was almost evening, so we decided to go back home.
I enjoyed the family outing thoroughly and even wished that we could prolong it a bit more. The laughter, the jokes, the intense physical activities with nothing to hold us back – everything was so perfect. But, the best thing was that it offered us a perfect opportunity to come together as a happy family.
