You should say:
and explain why you found this TV programme interesting.

Model Answer:
I like to watch all kinds of programmes, aired on TV, on science even though I don’t quite understand all of them, all the time (I guess that I must not really be that smart then, eh). Today, I would like to talk about one such TV show on science and explain why I found this programme to be interesting.
This TV programme was talking about the actual possibility of “time travel”. Now, I am pretty sure that the idea of time travel has fascinated many of us from the days we started to watch all those sci-fi movies in the 1960s. Back then, we probably thought that it was all “fantasy” and that it didn’t have any relation to reality whatsoever. But, that’s probably because science wasn’t remotely as advanced as it is today. And it is because of such astonishing advancement in science and technology that some of the scientists today actually dare to think that they can actually build a “time travel machine”! Quite fascinating, isn’t it?!
By the way, up and until I saw this TV show, I had very limited, if any at all, knowledge about “wormholes” and “dark energy”. Besides, the programme also went as far as drawing up some plans (by a renowned professor of physics at a very respected university) for building an actual time travel machine by applying Albert Einstein’s equations. The TV show also maintained that science and technology have advanced so much that we could actually have control over time and space someday! Besides, the show also claimed and explained that with the help of quantum physics, we can actually travel backwards in time. After all, in quantum physics, particles can travel through walls!
So, the programme was indeed very interesting, not only because it was talking about building a time-travelling machine, but also because it explained the progress in this particular arena in details. I found this program to be interesting because it was able to explain many complicated issues of science in a rather easy manner for common people like me to understand and appreciate.

This article is not helpfull for me because it is totaly different from what the topic asks. The topic is that describe a tv programme about science, but you mantion that in this programme scientists say that we build a time-travelling machine. But it is impossible that they can build a time travelling machine, so I am not satisfied with your answer. The main reason for this dissatisfaction is that I can't understand how we can travel backend in time!
