Model Answer:
My country (…say the name of your country…) is a land that is fertile enough to grow many kinds of fruit throughout the year. Due to our tropical weather, we have plenty of “Rambutan” all year round and this is a very common fruit in our country. I personally love this fruit. So I’d like to thank you for the opportunity to let me talk about this fruit.
Rambutan is a small fruit, almost the size of a chicken egg, but round in shape. It is grown in clusters on the end branches of the rambutan tree, and its skin is covered with small hair-like things. This fruit is green when unripe and changes to bright red when it is fully ripe. When the outer skin of a ripe rambutan is split, the sweet juicy white edible flesh inside of it is revealed. This white flesh tastes so delicious and I still recall eating many of them in my childhood and teenage years. I still love to eat this fruit which is one of the most exquisite and popular fruits in my country.
Rambutan is grown in almost every part of my country but the farmers in the west-north districts grow them as the main crops. Anyone can get it from a super-mall or fruit vendor in my country and they are not expensive.
Due to its delightful taste, juicy and luscious sensation and availability, this is perhaps one of the most popular fruits in our country. I specifically love it because I like both its taste and smell. I grew up eating this fruit in my childhood and teenage time and it is blended in our culture and national identity. How can I not love such a magnificent fruit like rambutan which almost everybody in my country love?
