Model Answer 1:

Dear Smith,

I am so glad to receive your letter last week. It contains wonderful words and it deserves a proper reply which I am planning to do soon. Today I am writing to let you know that I have switched my job last month and I am hoping that it would be a positive career move for me.

You would be happy to know that my new job comes with a higher pay scale, better working environment and more flexible timetable. I was not dissatisfied with my previous job but I had to move to a large company where I would be able to work with more talented colleagues and work for bigger clients. As a web developer, I wanted to work for a multinational company and eventually move to a company that has more prestigious clients. I believe the move was timely and important for my future career.

The new job is much more exciting, rewarding and interesting than my previous job and it offers 20 days paid holidays in a year. I will have more time to travel than ever before. They offer a flexible timetable for work and I can spend more time with my family now.

I have always wanted to work and settle in Canada and hopefully, I will apply for the skilled migration sometime in 2020. I want to work for one of the best web designing companies in the world and I know some of them are located in Canada.

Please convey my best regards to Margarita and write me back when you are free.

Warm regards,

Raymond

Sample Answer 2:

Dear Rebecca,

Hope you are doing great with the grace of Almighty. It has been a while since I have received your letter. Today, I am writing to update you on some of the recent changes that have taken place in my life, specifically my career move.

I have switched my job and I no longer work for the Trinity college. My new office is now in my hometown and I really love this job. I am working with a multinational NGO called HDC and they basically work for less privileged children in more than 30 countries. I work with them as a Project Coordinator and I feel somewhat connected to a great cause. I have to manage a team of 18 staff and the responsibility is sometimes tough. But the remuneration and other facilities are far better than my previous job.

It might be interesting to you to know that I have got engaged with George and we are planning to move to the USA sometime next year. I will try to work for the same company in the USA as their headquarter is in California. If this becomes difficult, I will look for a similar job.

What have you been up to recently and how is David? Say hello to him.

Warm regards,

Sara
