Model Answer:
Since my student life, I have always wanted to pursue a job abroad. In fact, I even applied for a few part-time jobs abroad as a university student about 5 years ago, but to no avail. Today, I would like to talk about one of those part-time jobs which I still wish to pursue.
The part-time job, I am talking about here, is the job of a “Nutritionist”, and this job has to be located in the beautiful country of Japan. Well, the main reason for pursuing that job in that country is that I am actually very fascinated and intrigued by Japanese diets. I mean that there must be a reason why the majority of the Japanese population live a rather long and healthy life, and that reason very much lies in what kind of foods they choose to eat. Or at least, that’s what I have heard and read from many sources.
But, getting the information from different sources is one thing while verifying the information on the spot and at their sources could be totally something else. Anyway, now that I have explained why I want to pursue a part-time job in Japan, it is time to explain why I want to do this job, and how it is going to help me.
I want to have the job because it is very much related to my profession. In fact, I am a public health expert by profession, and seeing how the public health situation in my country is in disarray, I think that I could definitely put my knowledge and experience (obtained from working in Japan) to some use in order to improve the situation a little. In other words, my professional improvement is also somehow related to this part-time job.
Now, as for when I really want to do that job, I am trying to get some kind of scholarship to do my post-graduation degree at a Japanese university in the next few years, and as soon as I get such an opportunity, I am going out of my country! So, just wish me luck!
Thanks a lot for this post.
