Model Answer:
Thank you for this interesting cue card topic as it takes me back to a time when I was probably enjoying a very simple yet happy life.
Anyway, a typical day in my early teen years wouldn’t exactly start with a morning alarm, beating my ears, but with the sound of some noisy yelling from my mother, apparently, because I wouldn’t wake up on time. But, I still had to drag myself out of the bed to eat my breakfast before wearing my school dress and start walking towards my school. Sometimes, I would wake up from bed so late that I literally had to run to my school while putting my shirt on in the middle of the road!
But, once I arrived at my school, I was a serious student. In fact, I was so serious about my studies that I hardly used to talk with any of my classmates except a few of my good friends. Both I and my friends would avoid playing any sports at our school; instead, we just used to sit together and talk about different stuff. However, after finishing school, I straight used to go to my grandmother’s house. She used to make lots of good snacks for me! Sometimes, I also used to visit a local playground to see other kids playing in the afternoon. However, as soon as it was evening, I straight had to go to my home, and sit at my study desk after freshening myself up. Later, I would be allowed to watch a little TV also before eating my dinner and going to bed.
Anyway, my typical day as an early teenager wasn’t exactly very eventful or interesting, but I liked whatever I was doing back then because it helped me stay out of trouble, and I just didn’t like any trouble. But, if you ask me, the best part of my typical day as a teenager was when I used to visit my grandmother’s place, apparently because he treated me like a “prince” and had all the good things to say about me!
