Model Answer:

I just love visiting the farms in a village. In fact, I went to one of those places just a year ago, with a couple of friends, and today I would like to share that story with you.

Initially, we thought that we were going to visit a farm in one of the model villages of my country (yes, my country has a number of model villages that can take the breath away of those people who never visited a village before), but then decided against it because that would be too predictable. “Too predictable” in the sense that everything on a farm, located in a model village, would look too nice and organized for our taste. So, instead of visiting such a “perfect looking” farm, we decided to visit a farm in a normal village that received a minimal human intervention.

We had to drive a good 4 hours to reach that farm, but once we arrived there, we completely forgot about our journey because all we could see there was green and green as far as we could see. After arriving there, the first thing we did was sit at a local food place there and eat some fresh watermelon. Then we went to see the local farmers there, washing their goats in the river that was flowing by the huge paddy fields. Then we took a lot of pictures of the rice fields, swinging nicely in the gentle wind.

By the way, we visited this particular farm, mainly because the environment and lifestyle there were completely in sync with a traditional village. Besides, the farm had one of the most beautiful and gigantic rice terraces in my country, and many people go there just to enjoy that view.

At the end of our visit, I felt like I was a new person with no regret or remorse in life as it was too serene and beautiful there. I also felt that people should visit such farms more and more so that they can actually understand and appreciate the value of those farms which provide us with the foods – foods without which we won’t survive.
