Describe a child you know and like a lot.

You should say:

• who this child is
• how you know him/her
• what he/she enjoys doing

and explain why you like the child so much.

Model Answer:

He is about 5/6 years old, and his full name is “Fuad Fahim”. I have known him from the day he was born. Yes, that’s right. I have known him from the day he was born because he happens to be my little cousin. I treat Fuad just like my younger brother, and this is his story.

Fuad Fahim is little more than 3 feet tall, and he is little chubbier than the other boys of his age in his neighbourhood. But, he doesn’t really like the fact that he is chubby, so he has already started to do some diet controlling thing. In fact, this extra weight of Fuad bothers him so much these days that he even wears a tight belt around his pants in order to make his stomach look smaller. Fuad Fahim has a lot of “secrets” but he never likes to shares them with others except only me. When I ask him about why he “trusts” me so much, he just tells me, after thinking for about 10 seconds, that he doesn’t know. And, when he answers like that I know that he is telling the truth because Fuad has never told a lie since I have known him.

By the way, my little cousin Fuad is not exactly like any other kids of his age when it comes to enjoying chocolate or ice creams. Besides, he doesn’t even like to watch cartoon movies like other kids because he thinks that watching cartoons is only for little kids, and he is not a little kid anymore. However, he likes flying kites as well as riding his little tricycle. He also likes to read different kinds of storybooks.

Anyway, I like Fuad so much because he is one of the honest little kids I have ever seen. Besides, I have seldom seen him getting involved in any kind of arguments with other boys of his age. Besides, I also like him so much because he always treats me like his elder brother. Finally, I like him because he seems to be a very positive kid with nothing really to complain.
