Describe a situation when you made an important decision with the help of someone.

- who helped you
and explain how you felt about it.

Model Answer:
Not sure about others, but I have always tried to avoid making decisions on my own whether they are important or not. So, whenever there is an important decision to make, I always try to rely upon on the experience and wisdom of other people, just like I did about 7 years ago.
After graduating from my university in the year 2013, it was time for me to get a job and start living independently like any other adults. So, I started to apply for jobs one after another. Of course, when applying, I didn’t really have the luxury to think whether I should have got a job in my hometown or some remote areas. But, naturally, I was hoping that I would rather have a job in my hometown as I always wanted to stay close to my family, especially, my old grandpa, who loved me with his life.
Anyway, interview calls started to come on my way one after another, but only a very few of them were coming from the companies or the government offices of my hometown. I was even finally offered a job, but that was in another town which was about 300 kilometres away from where I lived. Everybody was so happy about the news except my old grandfather. And, that’s when I decided to give the issue of moving out a serious thought as I didn’t want to see my loving grandfather sad. After all, it was not an easy decision for me to make. So, I decided to consult with my uncle who had offered me important advises on many occasions in the past. My uncle also advised me to accept the job against the wish of my grandfather.
Anyway, I felt quite relieved after making the decision as a lot depended on this decision as far as my future career goal was concerned. I also felt that we should always try to understand and show proper respect to the wishes of our families even if we are not always able to deliver what they want or expect.
