Describe an interest or hobby that you particularly enjoy.

- how long you have been doing it
- why this is important to you
and explain why you enjoy it so much.

Model Answer:
Life is really stressful these days no matter how hard we try to avoid it. So, what do we do to get out of our stressful lives because of our undying affection and love for this material world? Well… how about choosing a hobby that we can actually enjoy from time to time, leaving the fear and frustration of our daily routines aside? Now, if you agree with me, you will also probably want to go with me for some fishing marathon on a bright sunny day without worrying about the time on your watch. Even better if you just leave your watch at home for that particular day.
Anyway, since my high school days, I have tried many other hobbies, but none of them really stimulated me as much as fishing did. Now, being at my mid 20’s, I feel like fishing has remained a very important and integral part of my life as it has always helped me regain my focus on the priorities of life during many crunch times.
I have enjoyed fishing from the day I started it (that would be probably sometime during 2012) primarily because it gives me an opportunity to hit the outdoor just when I feel the need for some fresh air in order to refresh and re-energize myself for the next challenge. Besides, the “alone” time allows me an opportunity to enjoy the “serenity of life” offered by the beautiful nature around us. And then, of course, there is the actual “fish catching” part when I become “possessed” with the joys of catching some big fishes while “granting life” to small fishes by releasing them back into the water. Finally, when I actually get to eat the “fruit of my labour” by grilling them in my oven at a perfect temperature, having tartar sauce, lemon juice and mixed fruit & vegetable salad on the side, I know that I have found the ‘taste of heaven”. By the way, did I ever mention that I would even travel to another planet if I am allowed an opportunity to enjoy a premium fish dish? Fishing as a hobby attracts me that much!
