Model Answer:
Thank you for this interesting cue card topic as I indeed have had many opportunities to visit my friends and family members at their workplaces. So, here is the story of a visit that I undertook when I was a young child.
The person, I visited, was none other than my father. Prior to this visit, I had passed by my father’s office many times, but never really felt the urge to visit inside it. But, on that eventful day, I decided to visit it at the request of my father as he wanted to introduce me to a delegation team from a foreign country that was having an important meeting with the officers at my father’s office.
By the way, my father used to work at a big office back then which was in charge of providing the vaccination to young children, and the foreign delegation team was visiting my father’s office to train the professionals there. Anyway, as I visited the office, I found that the office had a very nice garden in front of it. I also noticed that the office was very nicely decorated with all kinds of flower tubs to show proper respect to the foreign delegation team. Besides, the interior of the office was spotlessly clean while a very fine scent was coming from it. Not to mention, of course, I was so much impressed with the beautiful look of my father’s office that I felt like I would never want to leave the place. But, my father told me that I would need to leave the office as he was going to have an important meeting there.
Anyway, I felt really good about visiting my father’s office on that occasion. In fact, it was after that visit, I, for the first time, thought that I would also work in such a nice office when I grew up. Besides, the experience of meeting the foreign delegation team and talking to them in broken English was something I would never forget.
