Write a letter to the manager of the apartment complex, and express your interest in the job. In your letter,

After coming across an advertisement in a local newspaper, in which you have asked for a seasoned property management professional to join your team, I have decided to apply for it.
In support of my suitability for this job, I have previously worked as a successful real estate agent for almost 3 years for one of the renowned real estate companies in our country before being promoted to a senior managerial role. Later on, I also worked at a very busy residential hotel in our city in the capacity of an Assistant Manager. In all of these previous roles, I have learned how to bridge the gap between the expectation of a landlord and the tenants, by properly maintaining the rental properties and adhering to the safety regulations and letting legislation.
Besides, once I am hired, I would first want to make sure that your tenants are getting the standard management services for the prices they are paying. I would also ensure that they pay rent which is on par with the market price, in comparison with your competitors, to ensure that your property is always an attractive choice for the tenants.
