You should spend about 20 minutes on this task.
Some construction work is being done on the street for the last couple of days where you live. The noise from the work is loud and it disturbs you.
Write a letter to your local council complaining about the noise. In your letter,
- introduce yourself
- explain how the noise is causing problems for you
- suggest a solution to the problem
Write at least 150 words.
You do NOT need to write any addresses.

Before I go ahead and explain the reason as to why I am actually writing this letter, please allow me to introduce myself a little. My name is Christian Phillips, an architect by profession, and I am a resident of Morgan council.
The reason, for which I am writing this letter, is that some heavy road construction works have been going on in the major roads and streets of my area. I also happen to live in one of these major streets where heavy construction machinery and equipment can be seen operating from early morning to sometimes 9:00 pm at night and creating some deafening noises. These noises couldn’t really be much of an issue under normal circumstances, but the problem is I have an elderly grandfather, who faces some serious trouble in taking nap and falling asleep because of the terrible noise in the evening. Needless to say, this lack of sleep causes some major health issues in my already-frail grandfather.
So, in view of this intricacy, I would like to request you to take the necessary steps to discontinue the road construction works after the evening to allow my grandfather some reprieve from this continuous noise.
