You should spend about 20 minutes on this task.
You have been studying at a university in the UK for the last two years. A friend from your homeland has recently written to seek your advice on whether to finish his/her degree course at a university in his/her native country or the UK. You think he/she should come to the UK.
Write a letter to your friend.
In your letter:
- thank him/her for seeking your advice
- say why he/she should come to the UK to finish his/her degree course
- say how can you help him/her about it
Write at least 150 words.
You do NOT need to write any addresses.

Dear Shan,
Hope you are doing fine. Thank you for considering me as someone who could offer you some advice on such an important issue. To tell you the truth, I have given a lot of thoughts to your current situation and decided to suggest you that you should come to the UK in order to finish your degree course.
The main reason for such advice is that you have great academic results and a great score in the IELTS test. So, it would really be easy for you to obtain a scholarship from a top-rated university in the UK in your subject. Of course, you may have to pay for the first-semester tuition fees on your own but after that, the scholarship money would pay for all of your costs. On top of that, you could actually save up some money from that scholarship which is not possible in your country. Moreover, your degree will be much valued once you obtain it from a renowned university in the UK.
So, if you really want, I can contact some universities and collect important information that would best suit your needs. I could also help you find a suitable but affordable accommodation, should you choose to come to the UK.
