Dear Sir or Madam,
After working for more than a few years under your supervision, it is time for me to leave this great company in order to pursue a better opportunity. I am writing to notify you that I have decided to leave the company. So accept this letter as a formal notification as my resignation.
It has been quite a remarkable journey for me for the last few years at this company, and I have enjoyed working here from the day I started working here as a junior Computer Network Administrator. To be honest, this company was like a second home to me. Besides, I have learnt a great deal from working here. In fact, I am much better in time management now, as well as in how to give effective presentations on computer networking system in front of prospective customers, because of the extensive training that I have received from working here over the years.
I have decided to accept this new job opportunity as I believe that changes are vital for personal and professional growth. I truly hope that my resignation does not cause you any sort of inconvenience. Please let me know what I can do to make this transition as smooth as possible for the entire department.
Yours faithfully,
John Stewart
