- offer to give a guided tour of your town to the writer of the article

You do NOT need to write any addresses.
Begin your letter as follows:
Dear Sir or Madam,
Model Answer:
Dear Sir or Madam,
I am writing in response to a recent article in your newspaper discussing the perceived similarity of town centres across the country. While I acknowledge certain aspects of the article, I would like to present a different perspective based on my own experience and observations.
I agree with the article’s assertion that globalization has contributed to the convergence of some architectural elements and commercial establishments in town centres. However, I respectfully disagree with the sweeping generalization that all town centres in our country look the same. In fact, each town centre has its unique structure, history, culture, and identity that are often reflected in its urban landscape.
In the case of our town, we have deliberately embraced our distinct heritage to create a town centre that stands out from the norm. Our town centre showcases a blend of traditional and contemporary architecture, and we have actively preserved historical landmarks and local artisanal shops. This deliberate approach fosters a sense of authenticity and preserves the cultural uniqueness of our town.
I would like to invite you to experience the diversity and charm of our town centre firsthand. I would be delighted to offer a guided tour, highlighting the elements that set us apart from the perceived homogeneity described in the article.
Thank you for your time and consideration.
Yours faithfully,
Eliot Morrison
