- describe the watch
- ask the manager to help you find it
Write at least 150 words.
You do NOT need to write any addresses.
Begin your letter as follows:
Dear Sir or Madam,
Model Answer:
Dear Sir or Madam,
I stayed at your hotel last week to attend a professional workshop organised at a nearby conference centre. I stayed in room 351 on 3rd flow from 8th August to 11th August. When I returned home, I realised I no longer have had my watch with me. I am hoping that you would search for it, and then send it to my home address.
In relation to the specifics of the watch, it is a silver colour LOBOR chronograph watch for men and it comes with a sapphire surface made of stainless steel. The dial is circular and has roman numerals. It is approximately 2 years old but looks almost fresh. The last time I saw the watch was in the hotel room and I left it on the bed-table before I took a shower on the day I checked out from the hotel.
The watch does not worth much but it has sentimental value to me. It is a gift from someone special and I would never want to lose it. I was wondering if you have already got the watch. If not, can you please look at the hotel’s lost and found property section or send a staff member to check it in the room I stayed in, including the cabinet and washroom? Once you get the watch, please do give me a call. I will be ready to bear the courier charge.
Thank you for giving the matter your attention and I hope to hear your reply soon.
Yours faithfully,
Robert
