Your friend is planning to start an import-export business and has sought your recommendation on a product.
Write a letter to him/her. In your letter, explain:
- what product you recommend
- why you recommend that product
- how it could benefit him/her in business

Dear Santosh,
It was great to hear that you want to start an import-export business, and I thank you for seeking my recommendation. Well, given where you live and the degree of demand, I would say that you can start importing poultry feeds from a country like Bangladesh, Thailand or China. Since a good number of businesses, who raise chickens, in your area could use some of the products at an affordable price, you can do well in this business.
The reason, for which I am asking you to do this, is that the poultry feeds from Bangladesh, Thailand and China are of high quality, and as such, the chickens grow larger without compromising their meat quality. Besides, the carrying cost of importing the product from a neighbouring country wouldn’t really be as high as importing it from another country, which, in this case, would be a European one. And, the last time I checked, it does cost a lot of money to import from Europe, Australia, or the United States. So, if you import the product at a lower price than offered by a developed country, you will naturally be able to sell them at a lower price than your competitors, meaning more business and more power to you! Wouldn’t you agree!
